1st Flight Trip - Beijing, China

MY FIRST FLIGHT TRIP TO BEIJING CHINA ON 14/2/2002 - 20/2/2002
7 DAYS BEIJING/ TIANJING/ CHENGDE (By China Southern Airlines)


This is the first company trip sponsor by Tuck Kong Construction & Timber Sdn Bhd., the tour fee for each people was RM 2099 + air port tax, visa - discount = RM 2215.00. Whereas our own fare was Ktn/KL bus, taxi & KL/Ktn flight = RM 161.30 (in MAL)., RMB tipping, extra visited places, temple entrance fee, hire of donkey, Great Wall cert, Group photo = RM 455.00 (in China). Total RM 616.30.

This is our group photo, my gang are Mdm Tan, Yek Heng & Sun Hong, Mr & Mrs Wong, Joanne & Johnathan, Mr & Mrs Lee Kim Hwa, Mr & Mrs Choong Yong Hua, Mr & Mrs Chan Yan Keong, and then Mr Chong Yuen Ming & me alone.total 15 people. Ipoh 4 person joint us, tour leader Ms Chen and China Tour Guide Ms Linda.

The 3rd day we go to climb the famous Great Wall, only few of us climb higher, Mr Lee (old man), Ming, Ms Chin & Hua, Mei & Yan Keong , Ms Chen & me. We want to get the certificate, the rest waiting at the ground area & bus.

The 5th day we go to CHENGDE, the temperature is -5. very cold. This photo is taken in the middle of the lake, we go by hire a wood car pull by a donkey. The rest walk at the lakeside because they scare the ice will melt, they said hear the sound "GRU, GRU".

We do visit to Ming Tombs, Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tian An Men Square, World Park, Acrobatic Show in Beijing, Imperial Summer Villa, Eight Outer Temple in Chengde and Cultural Street, Confectionery Street in Tianjing.

Special food arrangement are Beijing Roasted Duck, Tianjing Gou Bu Li Bao Zi, Lamb Steam Boat and Dumpling.

This is not a MAL direct flight to Beijing, it do stop at HONG KONG for 1 hour, somebody is coming to the plane to through away rubbish, then stop at Guangzhou. Then change a big plane to Beijing. On the way back to MAL, our luggage suppose to send direct from Guangzhou to KTN, but when stop at KLIA, they informed that the luggage are missing, we can't go by the last flight back to KTN without luggage. Later, from KTN airport informed that there are our luggage reach KTN without passenger. Then MAS spend us for supper and stay 1 day at Pan Pacific Hotel in KLIA for FREE. Then the next day they arrange us to back to KTN by 2 group because not enough sit at the same time. Our trip is memorable, I enjoy this trip very much and took lots of photo, my album got 200 copy of photo.
