My son's & his schoolmate Kuantan trip (1)

My son Kok Hau & his schoolmate, Bong & Elvin back to Kuantan on 3/7/2009 by bus. They reached here about 10.30pm. He seldom come back, only when school holiday and maybe any occasion. He forgot to bring back his driving licence, so Elvin is going to drive. Today 4/7/2009, Saturday they want to go to Sg Lembing alone, but I am worry, so I take leave to accompany them to this famous Gua Charas, Pancing. I become their driver & camerawoman.

Inside there is a biggest sleeping Buddha in South East Asia.

This is the only entrance to the GUA, is very dark inside it but with lamp on.

There is Hindi festival, on this day lots of Indian here, they are praying inside the cave, they come by car & bus.

Can see everywhere is dark.
This is the new iron staircase, last time is a narrow small cement staircase, when after rain, its become very smooth and dangerous.

About 4.50pm, we reach the museum, at first the guard not allow to go in because close at 5pm. Then we tell him that Bong is from Sarawak and Alvin is from Johor, they come from very far. Then he let us go in.

This is the new signboard.

Then, we go to have a walk across the river by hanging bridge, there are 4 to 5 hanging bridge here.

They like it.

Later, we go to climb the Sg Lembing hill, Mount Tapis.

Only Bong & Alvin are climbing "quarter" way. Is very tired because just back from Pancing caves. And I just follow a little bit, because I am the camera woman.

This is the only Chinese primary school, start year 1939. And the library is just across the road facing the school. The drain water is running very fast, is from the hill.

This Sarawak boy, MR JAMES BONG like to take photo very much, and he can do lots of action.
