Family new year trip - 2010 (Part 1)

This year Chinese new year is fall on 14/2/2010, is on valentine day. Few years didn't go to Melaka, this year I suggest that we go there when during Chinese New Year, because from JB to KL, we will pass by Melaka, why not stay a night over there.
I had book room in the month of Jan'2010, a month before new year tru Internet booking.
This time we stay at Grand Continental Hotel, deluxe room cost RM219.50 per night.








Not much different here only lots of BECA and lots of one way street.

This is the new street Jonker Street, like Pasar Malam, lots of things are sold here, very nice & cheap.





We have our tea time here, very Nice Laksa., is spicy & hot. Also many types of ABC ice.


Lots of souvenirs shops.



At night, we hang around to look for food, finally kids choose McDonald again.

Delicious cake, chocolate & candy sweet.
Both of them are wearing the t-shirt which I bought from Hong Kong.
This is the Dataran Taming Sari.

The Grand Continental Hotel is located in the town. There is a small pool, my youngest like to swim here. Also provide buffet breakfast to 2, others we paid for it.

Melaka is a very NICE place to visit, lots of historical places.
Food there is reasonable, Kuantan is more expensive.


Having ABC ice kacang at the road side, at least they do business here no people disturbing, if in Kuantan sure not allow.

Can see the "Eye of Malaysia" .

Next to it is a building with some shopping store, karaoke rooms, cyber cafe and also a club house.




On the way back to KL, we stop at the Zoo Melaka.







Zoo Melaka got lots of animals then Zoo Negara.
